Friday Etsy Meanderings

This morning I woke up and just wanted to be on

Vancouver Island.

To wake up in a secluded cabin, light the fire and cozy up with a cup of coffee before strolling

along the thickly forested beach, climbing boulders and driftwood, hearing

seagulls and seals, feeling the salt air on my face.

But I am in the desert.

It's mild today.

The sparkling frost still hangs in the clear blue air capturing golden sun rays of winter.

And

I remember that all places have a beauty,

even as I long for home.
